Our Program
The Lighthouse program is non-military but is designed to provide structure, education, and spiritual guidance in an environment of Christian love. Our program is a combination of schooling, athletics, extra-curricular activities, scheduled family visits, community involvement, music training, and traveling. Welcome to Our Site
The Lighthouse Children's Home is located in Tallahassee, Florida and has been ministering to children and their families since 1977. The Lighthouse is an accredited Christian residential home for teen girls ages 13-17 who are having discipline problems in their home, failing grades in school, problems with the law, and those who have no home and family to care for them. The Lighthouse since its inception has remained true to our original mission of being a Christian home for children who are at risk or in trouble. Our godly staff is carefully selected and fully dedicated to the young ladies that are committed to our care and we consider it a calling and privilege from the Lord to minister to them and their families.
